The Double Fountain

CUTEST CHILD EVER. 'Nough said.

Oh, and for future reference people...please, don't send any "brain squeezers" to Misha-I don't personally like them, she doesn't tolerate wearing them (she pulls them RIGHT off), and this is what gets done with them when we receive them....

This is not to say we don't appreciate you sending her things-we really really do...but I have mentioned it before that I don't put them on her, and I wasn't lying. Jer-honey, I love you, and purple is a REALLY good color on you.:)

The Many Easter Bunnies

So, we went down to my parents house for Easter (stopping at the temple on the way on Friday night). It was great. In keeping with tradition, we did our Easter baskets on Saturday morning. We always did this growing up, and I do it now as an adult, so that we could preserve the sacredness of the Sabbath. I personally don't want my kids thinking about the Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday, when what they should be thinking about is the Savior. Anyway-I digress. So, Saturday morning, we all awoke to find Easter baskets sitting outside our doors! Here's Misha with her basket...she's learning to pose for pictures already...every time I take one she'll look at me and get a big grin on her face. It's hilarious. She made out like quite the little bandit. The tan basket is the one my mom gave her, and then you can see the one we gave her on the right side of the picture...it was my old one, Jer got me a new one this year. She had such fun rummaging through her baskets and got a lot of fun new toys and clothes. Saturday day Jer, Misha, my dad, and I went to the Body Worlds exhibit at the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore. It was AWESOME! Of course, Jer and I are into that kind of thing, and my dad being the intellectual man that he is, loves learning at every turn. It was really informative, and if you haven't been to it, I recommend you find one nearby and visit if you aren't grossed out by that sort of thing. Sunday was lovely. Here's Misha in the Easter dress my mom got for her, she was so cute in it! We of course had matching toenails in four festive Easter pastel colors. We had a great time being spiritually uplifted at church and seeing the wonderful friends we have there. We got home at a decent time to a clean house (thanks to my efforts Friday before going down), and were able to get to bed and get some sleep before hitting the working road again Monday morning. Oh, and here's a picture of Misha walking with Jerry today. She's getting so close to getting up and doing it on her own! She only holds on to one finger and honestly doesn't use that much support. I really want her to just get up and walk! Truth be told, I'm kinda tired of carrying her everywhere. Hope everyone had a wonderful visit from the Easter bunny!

Kids Songs Sung By Rock Stars GREAT

I found this quite amusing today...especially since it kinda applies to me. The first minute and 45 seconds is the best...no need to watch past that.
